From June 28 to June 30, in Abidjan, AFRICTIVISTES took part in a team building workshop organized by RADDHO and OSIWA, as part of the campaign for the integrity and independence of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACHPR). This one entitled "Ma Commission doit rester indépendante" (My Commission must remain independent) was launched on June 28, in the presence of the Head of Cabinet of the Ivorian Ministry of Human Rights, the Secretary General of Raddho, and important actors of the civil society . The participation of the National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) of French-speaking West African countries, representatives of the African Union and the ACHPR, and other NGOs made the workshop relevant.

In its Human Rights section, Africtivistes has presented its ICT4JUSTICE project whose main axes Africa Month of Justice and Local Initiative for Justice are directly related to the ACHPR, and are in line with the planned campaign. Opportunities of collaboration were also identified and Africtivistes was asked to set up a communication and strategy roadmap, in collaboration with Raddho and the NHRIs, to ensure the pooling of efforts and activities, and thus the promotion and valorization of the ACHPR at the level of the sub-region.
